I’ve been looking at these things for a year or so, and they seemed so freaking cool. The only problem being that they wanted a relative fortune for them, when normal MP3 players could be purchased for dirt cheap. For a very short time I imagine, that has changed.
If you haven’t been looking into these, they are basically the same as a normal mp3 player, except for one thing. Instead of spending HOURS buying, ripping, finding, and loading songs, then repeating every few weeks when it feels stale…. Slacker will automatically choose and download songs that you will like. With wifi, you only need to plug it in to charge it. It intelligently decides what songs to download based on what artists/songs you have told it you liked or didn’t like while you were listening. The more you listen, the more accurate it tunes to your exact taste.
